When the source of truth already lives in Procore, the cleanest QR workflow is usually a Procore-connected share. That keeps the field pointed at live project information instead of a static copy that can drift out of date.
Use Procore shares for live project data
This workflow makes sense when the field needs access to:
- Documents
- Drawings
- Specifications
- Forms, logs, or other tool-based project data
Start in the right project
Choose the project tied to the Procore data you want to share. Then create a Quick Code that uses the Procore path instead of a local-only upload.

Choose the tool based on the scan goal
The real question is not “which Procore tool can I connect?” It is “what does the person scanning need to open right now?”
Examples:
- documents for current field access
- drawings for live sheet access
- specifications for scope clarification
- forms or logs for ongoing site activity
Pair Procore with a good label and print choice
The field does not care that a code is technically connected to Procore unless the label makes the purpose obvious and the posting location is useful.
Confirm permissions and mobile usability
Before rollout, test the scan path the way the field will experience it. Make sure users can reach the information they need and that the workflow still makes sense on a phone.
When not to use this workflow
Choose another approach when:
- the content should live directly in Taliho
- the destination is an external site rather than Procore
- the workflow needs stronger access control before opening
If the destination is outside Procore, use Add Custom Links to a QR Code. If the content needs protection, continue with Set Password Protection for Sensitive Access.
