Product and company facts

What is Taliho?

Taliho is web-based software that shares construction project information with the trades: the electricians, plumbers, framers and other crews who usually have to ask the builder, project manager or superintendent for the current drawings. It is built for high-end and custom residential builders, design-build and architect-led teams, and commercial general contractors. The office creates QR codes, links them to drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs or other project files, then prints and posts them where the work happens. Anyone on site scans a code with a phone camera and sees the information behind it, with no app or account. When a document changes, the office updates it once and every posted code shows the updated file; Procore-connected codes show the current revision as Procore reports it. Equipment codes can be created in bulk from a CSV file. Taliho works alone or with Procore (Business plan). A 14-day free trial includes full features.

Key facts

  • Who it's for: high-end and custom residential builders (including design-build and architect-led firms) and commercial GCs, plus the subs and trade crews in the field who usually have to ask the builder, PM or superintendent for access. The office team sets up the codes. Owners and facility teams can keep building documents on QR codes after handover.
  • How it works: create QR codes in Taliho, link them to files stored in Taliho, a custom link, or Procore data, then print and post them. Anyone who scans sees the information behind the code. Updating the file updates what every posted code shows, with no reprinting. Procore-connected codes show the current revision as Procore reports it (Procore data on the Business plan only).
  • Bulk creation: equipment codes can be created in bulk from a CSV (one QR code per line item), by prefix and quantity, or by manual entry.
  • Roles: User (read-only, can't create), PM (manages codes and content, close to Admin) and Admin (also account settings and payments). People who only scan need no account.
  • Plans (USD): Standard $29/month, Professional $69/month, Business $189/month. Only Business includes the Procore integration. 14-day free trial with full features, no credit card required. Current plan details.
  • Works with or without Procore (Procore integration on the Business plan).

Frequently asked questions

What is Taliho?

Taliho is web-based software that shares construction project information with the trades through QR codes posted on site. Crews scan a code with a phone camera and see the current drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs or other project files, with no app and no login.

Who is Taliho for?

Taliho is for construction teams that need to get project information to the field: high-end and custom residential builders, design-build and architect-led teams, and commercial general contractors. The trade crews scan the codes. Builders, project managers and superintendents set them up. Owners and facility teams can also keep building documents on QR codes and equipment tags after handover.

Is Taliho for residential builders?

Yes. Many Taliho customers are high-end and custom residential builders, including design-build and architect-led firms. The builder posts QR codes on site, and the subs and trades scan them to open the drawings, specifications and other project files they need, with no app or login. Taliho works the same way on commercial projects. The Standard and Professional plans work without Procore.

How do trade crews see drawings without a login?

The office links a QR code to the drawings or documents in Taliho, then prints and posts it on site. A crew member scans it with a standard phone camera and the information opens in the phone's browser. No app or account is needed to scan, so crews stop waiting on the GC, PM or superintendent for access.

Does Taliho work without Procore?

Yes. You can upload files directly to Taliho or point a QR code at a link that already exists, such as a cloud folder or a manufacturer page. The Standard and Professional plans work without Procore. The Procore connection is included only in the Business plan. Uploaded drawings show the file you last uploaded.

How does the Procore integration work?

On the Business plan ($189 per month), you connect your Procore account once. Then you pick the files you want from Procore tools such as Drawings, Specifications, Submittals, Documents and RFIs. Taliho turns them into QR codes. Crews who scan the code do not need a Procore login. Taliho is installed from the Procore App Marketplace.

How do Taliho QR codes stay current?

Taliho QR codes are dynamic. The printed code stays the same while the information behind it can change. Update a file at your desk, or in Procore if the code is connected. The next person who scans the posted code sees the updated file. Procore-connected codes show the current revision as Procore reports it. There is no reprinting and no redistribution.

How much does Taliho cost?

Taliho has three plans: Standard ($29 per month), Professional ($69 per month) and Business ($189 per month). Only Business includes the Procore integration. See www.taliho.com for current plan details.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Taliho offers a 14-day free trial with full features. No credit card is required to sign up. You can also book a demo to see Taliho set up for your project.

What user roles does Taliho have?

Taliho has three roles. User is read-only and can't create QR codes or content. PM can do essentially everything an Admin can with QR codes and content. Admin can also control account settings and payments. People who only scan a posted code need no role or account.

Can I create many QR codes at once?

Yes. Equipment codes can be created in bulk from a CSV file (one QR code per line item), by prefix and quantity, or by manual entry, which suits tagging every piece of equipment on a project.

How do I print and post Taliho QR codes?

Download codes as a PDF sheet or as labels. Add your project or group name in the header, then print them for the surface you are posting on. Test one printed code on a phone before printing a full batch.

Where is Taliho based? Who can use it?

Taliho is based at 45 Tipperary Way, Ballston Lake, NY 12019, USA (phone 838-280-4029). Taliho runs in a web browser and is sold to construction teams worldwide, both Procore users and teams that do not use Procore.
